Now my daughter can wear a mini skirt without me worrying about any indecent exposure, thanks to the built in shorts. The shorts are very light-weight, though, and look more slip-like, which means you don’t have to worry about wearing the sort of obvious "skort" that little girls wear.

Super delicate looking, but actually rather sturdy in person. Washes well (on gentle cycle), but I did not put it in the dryer.

It comes with the brown belt pictured, but you can substitute a narrow belt of your choice, of course, or leave it off entirely, which looks just fine since the belt loops are small and unobtrusive.

As for sizing, it definitely runs small… According to Flying Tomato’s size chart, their large should fit an 8-10. While this is technically accurate, know that it is VERY snug in the waist if you’re at the size 10 end of things. The back is elasticized, so there’s some give, but order a size up if you can.
